Kim Jong Un wins unofficial Time Person of the Year poll

It's been a big year for North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un in meaningless online accolades. First, the Onion named him it's "Sexiest Man Alive," which drew attention from everyone from China to ... well, just China. Now, Kim Jong Un has won even more pointless internet praise: He currently holds a commanding lead in Time's online poll for their Person of the Year award. Thanks to the internet pranksters of 4Chan, the North Korean dictator has almost 2 million votes to his name, giving him a solid 1.6 million vote lead over Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi. There's still two weeks left to vote, and the online poll has no bearing on Time's actual award, but it just goes to show that Kim Jong Un is easily the most popular dictator on the web. [Source]
