According to a post on Reddit by user Rcrowley32, a friend's five-year-old son was given a homework assignment with the following question: "The man [blank] the dog," with the options "fit" or "hit." Although the question was accompanied with an illustration of a man slapping a pooch with a rolled-up newspaper, the kid wisely deduced that neither answer is correct.
