King of jerks jailed for throwing homeless man's pet rabbit into river
12/5/2012A royal A-hole will have the chance to show off his crown in prison after throwing a beloved pet rabbit into a river. Homeless man John Byrne was panhandling on a bridge over the River Liffey in Dublin, Ireland, when 20-year-old Gary Kearney snatched Byrne's pet rabbit Barney from his arms and hurled it into the river. Byrne jumped in to save his bunny buddy. "I got him under the bridge and gave him the kiss of life," Byrne said. Jerk Kearney got four months for animal cruelty while Byrne was given a Compassionate Citizen Award. [Source]
