Hockey game 'white-out' goes too far when kids don KKK hoods
2/23/2013Sports fans wearing a single color in support of their team is a sports staple, and the "white-out" staged by students at Grand Forks' Red River High School at the North Dakota state hockey tournament game against Fargo Davies seemed to be in that same harmless spirit. That is, until a closer look revealed three teenagers in the middle of the throng sporting pointed hoods and robes more in the spirit of the Ku Klux Klan. Officials from the school refused to comment, and one administrator from Fargo even suggested that critics were "looking for something that isn't there." Davies coach Brian Davidson was less forgiving. "That's pretty tacky," he said. [Source]
