School board says KKK robes are A-OK if they're for history class

A Las Vegas school board has decided it's fine for students to wear KKK robes to class ... at least sometimes. A performing arts magnet school teacher is off the hook for allowing two students to don the white outfits, creepy hood included, during a social studies presentation about the Ku Klux Klan. Sounds like a regular day at a drama school, right? Though these types of costumes aren't unusual on stage, they made a big splash online when a student snapped a pic of one of the kids wandering the halls in costume. The principal has apologized, calling the incident "unfortunate," and the teacher and students have been sent back to class. [Source]
