Koala miraculously not harmed when hit by bike on highway

If there's one thing Aussies love, it's beer. But coming in a close second is their koalas. The endangered and delightful marsupial is an emblem of all that is less deadly in the country's wildlife kingdom and beloved by all. So you can imagine the relief when this motorcyclist comes so, so very close to turning one into a smear of road-Vegemite — but, miraculously, doesn't. The koala is seen walking away from the accident and was "OK," according to a YouTube comment posted by the rider's friend. And it's always nice to know your brakes work when all that stands between you and certain death is a few inches of nothing.
