12/8/2012Turkish Airlines loves the superstars of sports: It's enlisted Kobe Bryant, Caroline Wozniacki and now soccer ace Lionel Messi as "brand ambassadors." That doesn't mean the carrier won't poke a little fun at them, as in this ad making its way virally throughcyberspace. It's Kobe and Messi vying for the attention of a young fan, first with the respective skills that they're famous for and then eventually with more desperate measures. How they get their comeuppance is funny enough, but not nearly as much as the premise behind the commercial. Kobe Bryant flying coach? Yeah, right.
