Old man Kobe Bryant says the Lakers are decrepit and slow
1/2/2013Some of Kobe Bryant's teammates are going to be waving their walking canes at him when he next ventures into the locker room. After the Lakers fell 103-99 to the Philadelphia 76ers on New Year’s Day, recording their 16th loss of the season, Bryant pondered aloud why the Lakers were faltering. Instead of blaming the turnover of head coaches or lack of team confidence, Bryant came up with a simpler reason: the old bones on the court. Asked why there had been a lack of energy from the Lakers all season, 34-year-old Bryant responded, "'Cause we're old as sh*t. … You just saw an old damn team. I don't know how else to put it to you.
