Kristen Stewart goes from vampire girl to topless beatnik

Kristen Stewart is moving post-Bella with her next role as a sometimes-topless underage beatnik in a new film adaptation of "On The Road." Jack Kerouac's iconic road trip novel, beloved by generations of art school girls and hitchhikers, is a far cry from the vampire-werewolf love triangle that made Kristen famous, and it features top tier actors in its cast: Steve Buscemi, Viggo Mortensen and Stewart's on-screen husband, Garrert Hedlund. It's a savvy move for Kristen to show her range and do a role far removed from her sheltered "Twilight" character, but still, it's hard not to wonder what Edward would have said about Kristen's topless cruise in the front seat.
