When your own foundation drops your name, that's pretty, pretty bad
11/15/2012Lance Armstrong has been stripped of his seven Tour de France titles. He's stepped down as chairman of his own charitable foundation. He's lost big-money sponsorship deals. And, somewhere, even Tiger Woods has gotta be thinking, "Wow, I didn't get off too badly." To add to the list, his name has now been removed from his foundation's name. The charity's spokeswoman said very diplomatically that it filed for the name change as it was "appropriate during a time of change." What will the disgraced cyclist be stripped of next? [Source]
