Lance Armstrong high-fives before finish line, gets beaten
4/2/2012Superhuman rubber bracelet enthusiast Lance Armstrong has cut his bike races by 3,370 miles since riding his last Tour de France in 2010. Armstrong has since returned to his triathlon roots, racing in a half Ironman (1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, then a 13.1 mile run) in Texas on Sunday, where he finished sixth -- no, wait, make that seventh. Armstrong was passed just before the finish line after an incredible surge from Jordan Jones, who managed to irk Mister Livestrong enough that Armstrong ignored both Jones and his own daughter (the one yelling, "Dad! Dad! DAD!" as she tries to hand him a medal). "That's how much Lance Armstrong cares about competition, everyone," SBNation wrote.
