J.J. Abrams is planning a Lance Armstrong movie, maybe without aliens
1/19/2013Hollywood doesn’t waste much time. The news out of Tinseltown is that Paramount Pictures and "Lost" co-creator J.J. Abrams are making a movie about Lance Armstrong. The studio and Abrams’ production company, Bad Robot, have bought the rights to a still-unreleased book about the athlete, “Cycle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstrong." The saga seems like perfect movie fodder, but the involvement of sci-fi uber-nerd Abrams ("Star Trek," "Super 8," "Cloverfield") is an odd match for the project. On the other hand, if there's any alien life or supernatural forces involved in Armstrong's fate, you can be sure J.J. will find it. [Source]
