Lance Armstrong's lawyer denies drug confession is coming

1/5/2013

Lance Armstrong’s lawyer is denying reports that the cyclist will soon confess about his doping past. The New York Times reported Friday that Armstrong told associates he may admit to using drugs, if it will help him resume his athletic career and get the Livestrong cancer charity back on track. Armstrong attorney Tim Herman poured cold water on the report Saturday, telling the AP that “when, and if, Lance has something to say, there won't be any secret about it." Herman also denied that Armstrong is in talks with both U.S. and World anti-doping agencies. It seems Armstrong’s camp may not be fully united on the best strategy to save Lance’s career. Newsflash, guys: There probably isn’t one. [Source]
