Vegas from space looks like the fiery perdition it really is

You've heard of black holes. Well, greetings from white hell. When he's not amusing himself with dancing nuts, Col. Chris Hadfield is sending out some pretty amazing images taken from the Interntional Space Station's NightPod system. But this view of Las Vegas and the neon vortex of the Strip is pretty darned scary. Sure, the place has always been known as Sin City, but who would have guessed that it's burned a hole in the Earth's crust and opened up a blazing portal to damnation? Unless, of course, that's actually the view of a blackjack dealer's head exploding after a gambler hit on 20 and drew an ace. [Source]
