Radio newsreader becomes the story by falling into water while texting

Laura Safe reads the news on Capital FM's "Breakfast Show" in Birmingham, England, and it's likely she's read a few chucklers about preoccupied dopes getting into accidents because they wouldn't park their cell phones. So there she was, walking outside a shopping complex texting her boyfriend and, kerplunk -- right into an icy canal. She didn't switch from texting LOL to SOS, as passer-by Neil Edginton was there to fish her out. But she later tweeted out to her followers, "I should really be called Laura UNsafe after the day I've had!" [Source]
