Normal-looking young woman is marrying a cardboard 'Twilight' vampire

Lauren Adkins looks like a perfectly reasonable young woman, until you realize that the cardboard cutout of Robert Pattinson she's clinging to is about to become her lawfully wedded husband. Adkins, an MFA student at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, is marrying her corrugated love as her thesis project, one that "explores gender, fantasy and the expectations Hollywood places on relationships." The closed-to-the-public ceremony (we know, we're disappointed, too!) will take place Jan. 26 at a Viva Las Vegas wedding chapel, an event made possible by the $1,235 she raised online.
