London cat cafe will let you pet kitties while drinking your coffee
2/25/2013Get ready to start pulling tufts of fur out of your cappuccinos, Londoners, because you're getting your own cat cafe. The cafe will feature 10 to 15 cats that will interact with the guests as they nibble their biscotti, because there's nothing better than having strange animals near your food, right? The concept is wildly popular in Japan, and 30-year-old entrepreneur Lauren Pears thought England needed its own version. She raised more than $151,000 through project-funding website Indiegogo and hopes to have the cafe open by May. This trend hasn't caught on in the U.S. yet, but if you want to drink coffee surrounded by a dozen cats, you could just hang out with our aunt. [Source]
