​Single guys have always known that cruising around town with an adorable puppy in tow is a great way to nab a date, and most girls have figured out the same principle works in reverse. However, it's doubtful either sex is aware that the breed of plays a role in their dating prospects. A recent survey of 1,000 pet-lovers found men see women with Golden retrievers as "girlfriend material" while Chihuahua owners are dumb but "probably hot." Labrador retrievers, beagles and poodles were among other breeds rated as most attractive for women. Conversely, guys with Siberian Huskies are considered "manly" while Golden retrievers crown them "great dads." French bulldogs and German shepherds are other top choices among the ladies, while pit bulls and Rottweilers aren't so popular.
