Reporter is bulldozed by cameraman during goofy pregame shoot
1/6/2013Welcome to the wild world of local news live shots, where nudists, roaming drunks and impulse gags are just a few of the dangers faced by the on-air talent. Lee Valsvik, reporting for the Minneapolis-St. Paul NBC affiliate KARE 11, was doing a pre-Vikings game live shot Saturday morning when a little on-camera levity went hilariously wrong. A simple football toss and run stunt, starring Valsvik's flat-footed cameraman, resulted in the reporter's righteous bulldozing. The alt-angle smartphone shot shows the cameraman reeling out of control after the blind hit, presumably trying to avoid the unattended, very expensive camera, and colliding with a table. You gotta love football.
