This Lego replica of Hogwarts took a year and 400k bricks to build
2/28/2013We spent a large part of our youth obsessed with (in no particular order) Pokemon, yo-yos, stamps and NBA player Hakeem "The Dream" Olajuwon. But none of our youthful obsessions ever yielded anything like this replica of Hogwarts built by Alice Finch: It contains 400,000 Lego bricks and took 12 months to build. It's beautiful, it's awe-inspiring and, considering that it's a faithful reconstruction of both the exterior and interior of a fictional wizarding academy, slightly unsettling. [Source]
