Visitors stand butt cheek to butt cheek to view art in the nude

2/19/2013

The rules at one Vienna museum changed briefly yesterday: no bags, no photos, no underpants. The Leopold hosted a special after-hours viewing of its exhibit "Nude Men From 1800 to Today" with one twist: Gallery visitors were nude, too. More than 60 art lovers joined the tour, which was created in response to one eccentric museumgoer who stripped while viewing the nudes in November. The exhibit is the most successful ever staged by the Leopold, despite (or probably because of) some graphic sexual scenes in the displayed works. We hope curators thoroughly scrubbed the viewing benches after all those nude butts. [Source]
