Never ask LSU coach Les Miles if his player is a 'flop'
11/18/2012If Louisiana State is looking for a new football recruitment video, they should just show Coach Les Miles' press conference after Saturday's victory over Ole Miss. When a reporter asks Miles if wide receiver Russell Shepard could be considered a "flop," the coach's passionate response shows the depth of dedication he has to his players, even though they may not be his biggest stars. Shepard came to the bayou as a top 10 recruit, but has not seen as much time on the field as one might have expected coming out of high school. Still, when you see Miles defend his players — and even (adorably) play wingman a little — it's hard not to cheer for these boys.
