'Les Mis' fans blast Anne Hathaway's singing on Twitter
5/16/2012The first trailer of Hollywood's adaptation of Les Miserables has been leaked to Perez Hilton's blog, and fans of the classic musical aren't thrilled. Droves of them took to Twitter to blast star Anne Hathaway's rendition of the famous tune "I Dreamed a Dream", dubbing it "weak as hell", "unsettling", and "scary" -- and those are the more polite ones. In fairness to Anne, the trailer's quality was reportedly pretty bad, and she sang live at the Academy Awards in 2011 to great praise. Fans will have to wait till the film is released in December before they make their final judgment.
