Lil Wayne denied tickets to Spurs game, throws tantrum

Not even chart-topping rappers get their own way all the time. Lil Wayne took to Twitter on Thursday night to complain after he couldn't get in to the Thunder's game against the Spurs in Oklahoma City. "Wow. [Shaking my head.] Go Spurs!" his disbelieving tweet concluded. Thunder spokesman Dan Mahoney claims Lil Wayne wasn't spurned from the arena for supporting the other team. "We'd love to have him at a game, but like anyone else, he needs a ticket," said Mahoney. It sounds to us like Lil Wayne's being a bit of a brat: In a follow-up text message to an ESPN reporter, he revealed he didn't go to the game because he'd only been offered tickets "behind the bench, not on the floor," and because the Thunder wouldn't give him "any special escort nor entrance." Our hearts go out to him. Really.
