Liquor-injected doughnuts solve two problems at once

Vodka custard and doughnuts made with passion-fruit liqueur are now being fried up at Delightful Pastries, a Chicago bakery that typically made these variations during Lent. Their not-very-surprising popularity means that they're now available year round — and for all ages, since the cooking process means that the alcohol is gone before the pastries are served. [Source]
