Appealing to both feline fanciers and typography geeks who can differentiate between hairline and demi-bold, the visually addicting expose making the social media rounds reveals the hipster behind Helvetica and the old-time reporter vibe of Courier -- all by placing the purring posers in a variety of font-inspired backgrounds and costumes. There are a few disappointing omissions, though: We would have liked to have seen the tabby take on Poor Richard, Avant Garde and Minion.
Which font-inspired ICHC cat is your favorite?
I have nothing against Dogs, but I am most definately a Cat person - I would chose all of them but especially Gothum which I know I have misspelled - 2 of my 3 cats are black. There are cat people like myself, dog people, and cat and dog people - does not matter....they are all super special....and this is all in fun, so love, pure love.....no hate, no competition....our animal babies are special.....but as a cat person that also loves dogs, just does not have one I say Cats Rule, Dogs Drool...Lol
Wow! I thought animal lovers were a little more mellow. Some of these comments are obviously meant specifically to get a rise out of cat lovers, and really serve no purpose except providing a cheap laugh to the writer.
I have greyhounds, which are probably the most cat-like dogs there are if you see how they stretch, rub up against you, and sleep all day. They are very laid back and loving creatures.
Though having greyhounds often precludes having cats too (since some greyhounds just can't curb their chase instinct), I still love nearly all animals, including cats, and would never consider hurting any dog or cat. I think there should be much more serious penalties for animal abusers.
