Lizzie Borden took an ax and gave her mother ... well, OK, the 32-year-old Sunday school teacher was ultimately acquitted of her parents' gruesome double murder, but the 1892 crime has never been solved. The grandson of Borden lawyer Andrew Jackson Jennings has donated his grandfather's journals to the Fall River Historical Society, in Massachusetts, and curators are now combing through them for revealing details. They warn they may not find a "smoking gun" (er ... bloody hatchet), though. After all, there's a lot of information to hack through.
