Maybe this locomotive should have come equipped with landing gear
11/9/2012Pro tip: Always buy the insurance before shipping something valuable. Also be sure to mark it "Fragile," even if it's a 200-ton locomotive. There's probably some hell to pay on the docks of Owendo, Gabon, these days after someone apparently used a slip knot to secure this brand-new American-engineered engine being unloaded at port. The fall was only about 20 feet, but big bubbas like this one don't land softly from any height. There's probably a fired rigging operator now looking for work: pretty hard to blame this one on the post office.
