London mayor blocks 'gay therapy' ads from public buses
4/12/2012London's mayor has blocked a series of controversial "gay therapy" ads slated to appear on city buses next week. The move reportedly came after the public expressed outrage over the ads from a Christian group called Core Issues Trust, which read, "'Not gay! Post-gay, ex-gay and proud. Get over it!" The ads mimicked a campaign by gay rights groups reading, "Some people are gay. Get over it."
Core's leader, Mike Davies, has said in the past that "homoerotic behavior is sinful" and his group finances "reparative therapy" for gay Christians who want to overcome homosexual urges and try to become straight.
Do you think the ads should be banned?
