They apparently do in Florida, where the Levy County Sheriff's Office reported that an intoxicated man with a balance deficiency tried to shoot his horse after his steed bucked the blotto rider. According to a news release, 64-year-old Lonnie Wilkerson, reportedly drunk on vodka, was riding his horse down a road about 11 p.m. when he was suddenly thrown off. A pissed off Wilkerson allegedly began shooting at the horse with a .40-caliber pistol, but luckily his aim was far from true, missing the horse completely. Wilkerson was treated for minor injuries he got while being thrown, and then charged with using a firearm under the influence. [Source]
