'Lost' costar tweets that Matthew Fox beats up women
5/30/2012In an unusually public forum -- Twitter, of course -- former "Lost" actor Dominic Monaghan, who played recovering addict Charlie, has accused co-star Matthew Fox of "beat[ing] women." Monaghan was prompted by an otherwise utterly innocuous tweet from fan @omggbeccaa, who asked Monaghan to encourage Fox to join Twitter. Monaghan wasn't having it, and followed up his accusation by restating his anti-Fox position: "He beats women. Not isolated incidents. Often. Not interested." Fox was accused in August 2011 of punching the female driver of a party bus in Cleveland and was later arrested but never charged.
