Lost hiker with broken ankle calmly makes home movie

Lexi De Forest broke her ankle trying to jump from a trench in Wyoming. Because the hiker was stuck in the wilderness presumably without cell phone service and couldn't walk, she did what any bored person would do: make a home movie. In the video, she spends more than six minutes calmly listing the things she loves, giving random shout-outs to friends and family, and making jokes. She admits she's scared, but in the "calmest, coolest sense," and shows the camera her twisted ankle, which is truthfully really creepy-looking. She signs off her "Blair-Witch"-style video saying, “I love my dog, seriously -- best decision I ever made …I made a lot of good decisions; one of them was probably not jumping over that trench…" Then you can hear her friend Eric calling for her. This ended a lot better than the movie “The Grey.”
