Luckily, woman pregnant with 9 kids turns out to be hoax

Just call her Nadamom. When Mexican broadcast network Televisa and newspapers reported that 32-year-old Karla Perez was due to deliver nine babies by Caesarean section next month, it seemed that Octomom had been eclipsed by Nuevemom. But after authorities in her hometown of Villa de Arteaga had offered assistance, doctors examined Perez and discovered she was not pregnant at all -- nor had she had triplets last year, as she had claimed. In fact, her mother, Francisca Castaneda, told newspaper El Diario de Coahuila that Perez underwent a procedure after the last of her three children were born to prevent her from getting pregnant again.
