Lucky lady gets a prom invite that already includes a throne

Cerina Mick is No. 1 in Evan Maack's life, so he had to find a way to ask her to the prom that was No. 2 - er, second - to none. So the senior at Mead High School in Spokane, Wash., hit upon something commodious. He dolled up an old toilet -- "It was kind of gross," he admitted -- that he'd saved for years for a special occasion and used it to pop the question in their precalculus class. The two have been dating for seven months, so Cerina didn't think she'd get a formal invitation with such a smooth line as, "If you really have to go, go with me!" Now the two of them are flush with anticipation for the big dance.
