iFail: Dudes waiting for iPad mini leave line for snack, lose spots

11/2/2012

There are two sorts of lines snaking around New York City streets today. One kind is for gasoline, buses and ice. The other, of course, is for the iPad mini. More than 800 people were queued up outside a midtown Apple store in Manhattan today — but not leading that charge were two Brooklyn guys. Luis Lorenzo and Jean Bacquez were the first people in line at 6 a.m. on Thursday and held on to their places throughout the night, but they left this morning to take a breakfast break. When they returned, Apple staff booted them to the back of the line. Guess they weren't as hungry for the device as they thought they were. [Source]
