Lunatic breaks world record for skateboard speed
6/25/2012He flew down a hill on a skateboard faster than many drive on the highway, but Mischo Erban says his Guinness World Record winning ride was "just a game." The 28-year-old achieved the fastest skateboard speed from a standing position by whizzing down a road in Quebec, Canada known as "the landslide" at 80.74 mph --and handily wore a headcam to capture his incredible view. But while we might be impressed, Erban apparently isn't. "I didn't really even feel challenged," he said. "I hope to be afraid one day. I want to be able to do 160mph ... There isn't a road which exists to do it on but I think it would be possible because it is possible for downhill skiers."
