Chinese man swears his pet rock puffs away on cigarettes

2/20/2013

Got the urge to share a smoke with your pet rock? Turns out you're not alone. Luo Yuanshui discovered this bizarrely shaped red rock in the mountains of Shangyou, China, and promptly stuffed a ciggie in its "mouth." He then timed how long it took the stone to "smoke," calculating that his smoking buddy puffs through a cancer stick in just five minutes. He feels this is proof that the rock is actually smoking, because it generally takes six minutes for a cigarette to burn down when it's left lit (but unsmoked). Luo has decked the stone out with instructions and a handy ashtray and put it on display. Um, anyone have some snake oil for sale around here? [Source]
