Neither snow nor rain nor a man's body will stop this mail carrier11/9/2012
A Denver family has accused their mail carrier of something much worse than losing a package: They say he walked by the body of Dale Porch on the front steps of their home and did nothing about it. After working a graveyard shift on Nov. 2, Porch was dropped off at home and collapsed outside; he was discovered hours later by his son. The family says it's impossible the mail carrier could have delivered the mail without seeing Porch. The U.S. Postal Service, though, says it was a tragic, Halloween-related mistake — the carrier told his supervisors he thought Porch was a mannequin. "This is a very unfortunate situation and one that probably would not happen any other time of year," a spokesperson said. [Source]
