Maimed mugger gives would-be victim the finger
5/9/2012An attempted mugging went wrong in Sapporo, a city in northern Japan when the 59-year-old female victim bit off her assailant's pinkie finger. The woman was returning to her apartment when a man snatched her purse. She gave chase, quickly caught up to him, and as he tried to escape by bicycle, latched onto his pinkie and bit hard. The man departed in a hurry, leaving the bag, and the top third of his finger behind. This may be the first time a mugger ever left a tip.
