Mama whale shows off baby in amazing video

​Sure, you've seen a (million) videos in which a whale surfaces long enough to delight passengers on a sight-seeing cruise. But have you seen a video in which a whale lifts its baby calf out of the water so those same passengers could pet it -- and basically die of delight? The warm, shallow waters off Mexico's Baja Peninsula are home to hundreds of gray whales, who give birth to their calves in the protected El Vizcaino Biosphere Reserve. While whales can be shy, this mother clearly isn't -- and the joy of the video is in how proudly she seems to show off her calf, introducing him (or her) to the gleeful humans aboard the boat.
