Man accidentally shoots nail deep into his heart, survives

​A New Jersey man is sure to be more careful the next time he's doing handy work around the house. Dennis Hennis, of Vineland, N.J., accidentally shot a three-and-a-half-inch nail into his heart after his nail gun got jammed while he was doing some roofing work on his neighbor's house. Paramedics tried to drive him to the hospital but he went into cardiac arrest and resuscitation efforts jammed the nail into his heart even further (Cringing yet?) Eventually, Hennis was airlifted to a hospital, where doctors were able to dig the nail out. He's expected to make a full recovery and plans to get back to work.
