Man with no sense of irony accused of stealing ethics textbook
7/30/2012One graceful way to shrug off a minor theft is to say, “Guess they needed it more than I did.” But never has that concept been better illustrated than this case of a guy in Kentucky who allegedly stole a book on ethics. Surveillance cameras showed a man later identified as Terry J. Davis taking “Resolving Ethical Issues” from The University of Louisville’s Health Sciences Center, and he was arrested by campus police after attempting to re-sell it at a college bookstore. Maybe if Davis had bothered to crack the covers before trying to make a fast buck, he would have put it back. [Source]
If he's convicted, should this guy be forced to read the book he stole?
