Man sticks it to The Man, films cop writing him bogus ticket
9/17/2012It’s nearly impossible to bargain with a cop writing you a parking ticket. That’s the case in this video, which shows an officer writing up a violation for an allegedly expired meter — even though the tape clearly shows the supposed offender had five minutes left on the meter. The man doesn’t take the ticket lying down. He insists on filming the badge number of the eager officer and gets his name, too. The ticket for an expired meter in Los Angeles is $64, but this guy probably won’t have to pay it as long as he tells the judge hearing his case to log onto YouTube.
