Man has written his mom a letter daily for 30 years

For Mike Geraci, every day is Mother's Day. For 30 years -- make that 30 years, 4 months and 14 days -- the Portsmouth, N.H. man has written his dear old mom a letter. The first of the 11,000-plus missives sent to Gloria Britt began the day after she was badly injured by drunken driver on Christmas night 1981. Geraci was 19 at the time and living far away in California. During his mother's therapy, the loving son snail-mailed daily heartfelt notes of encouragement. Even after her recovery, the letters never ceased. "I have no plans of stopping, ever." Geraci said.
