Man is finally jailed after stalking a woman for 18 years

6/17/2012

Sometimes persistence is futile, gents, as in the case of Moses Shepard, who reportedly obsessed over one woman for 18 years after just one date in the early'90s. Through phone, email and (before she moved in with her folks) attempts to just barge straight into her apartment, Shepard creeped this lady out big time for almost two decades. Because he was in a different state, local police tried in vain to apply for an arrest warrant, and it wasn't until Shepard sent her an email comparing himself to that one monster who shot women in a Pittsburgh fitness center that the FBI got involved. Shepard has been sentenced to 100 months in jail, where he'll no doubt get a crash course on the value of personal boundaries.
