'Drowned' man stands up, walks out of the river
8/12/2012Relief and delight prevailed when a man floating lifelessly in the Susquehanna River in PA., suddenly got up and and walked out of the water. Joseph DeAngelo hadn't drowned; he had been sleeping in the river while police and alarmed bystanders looked on in horror. DeAngelo, who describes himself as "out like a light," was woken up when a dragonfly landed on his nose. Um, best possible ending to this story, yes. But sir, why are you napping in a river? We know it’s hot, but ... really?
