But we’re in a recession, so that makes Toledo, Ohio, resident Brandon Stuard’s billboard for his wife even more touching: It advertises her business skills and master’s degree like a giant hot-pink resume. Holly Stuard was laid off last year and has been trying not to despair while looking for a new position, so her husband invested $700 in an eye-catching billboard that will be up for a week in downtown Toledo emblazoned with “Please Hire My Wife/ email at:hiremywife@yahoo.com” as a surprise motivation for Holly.
