Man says pills to stop hair loss made him a woman
7/23/2012A 38-year-old software engineer claims the pills he popped for nine months to stop hair loss have turned him into a woman, forcing him to wear a blonde wig and tight dresses. It’s gotten so bad, says William McKee, that now he’s only attracted to men and may have to undergo sex-change surgery. Lawsuits have been filed throughout the country by men who say the drug—which has been used by millions since the 1990s and is a generic version of the brand-name drug Propecia—has caused them an array of sexual problems, including genital shrinkage. But McKee, who now goes by “Mandi,” is not part of the mass lawsuit that some users have filed against Propecia because the courts disallowed those who took the generic versions of the drug. [Source]
