Man complains Virgin made him feel like a pedophile

A Virgin Australia passenger is complaining the airline made him feel like a pedophile. Johnny McGirr, 33, said he was seated next to two 10-year-old boys on a flight to Brisbane when an attendant asked him to move, telling him men cannot sit next to unaccompanied minors. Red-faced, McGirr got up as the attendant placed a woman in his seat instead. After the flight, he blogged about the incident, calling it embarrassing and sexist. The post has now fueled a fiery Facebook debate, with some people agreeing with McGirr that the policy is discriminatory while others say the airline is correct to protect children.
