Angry golf course resident may have shot one (man) over par
9/8/2012Golfers are known to cuss and hurl clubs when their errant shots find water, sand or woods, but there's a different kind of hazard at LakeRidge Golf Course in Reno. Jeff Fleming was arrested for assault and battery with a deadly weapon after he allegedly used a shotgun on a golfer whose shanked ball broke a window in Fleming's home. The unsuspecting golfer, unaware of the damage, was looking for his stray ball on the 16th hole when confronted by Fleming, who "shot first and then started an argument," according to police. Just another reason it's safer to live next door to a bowling alley. [Source]
